John Hulbert

John Hulbert was born in New York in 1964. He attended Oglethorpe University in 1982 on a golf scholarship. During college, he won several championships in Division 1 of the collegiate level. He was twice selected to the Virginia All-Star team and once to the Sun Belt Conference First Team for the 1985–1986 season. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance in 1986 and turned professional in 1988. John won his first professional championship in 1991, obtaining his PGA Tour card. He then competed in various professional tournaments, including the Nike Invitational, B&H Open, Canadian Tour, and South American Tour. In the 1994 Michelob Light Open in upstate New York, John came from behind on the final day to claim his second professional win. John has over 20 years of experience in junior training and has coached many students who have won titles at the PGA and LPGA levels, and in college teams. John Hulbert founded the Missing Link Golf Academy in the United States in 2000 after participating in the establishment and development of the IMG Golf Academy's youth golf program from 1996–2000.
