Edward "MAJI" Wang is an exceptional golf coach and player, holding a degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He started playing golf at the age of 13 and won several championships in the junior categories. His personal best score is 66. During high school, he twice won the Canada Taiwan Cup and later secured the championship in the Canadian PGA Association after turning professional in college. Edward studied at one of the world's largest golf academies, the Jim McLean Golf School in Miami, where he observed training sessions from many PGA players. Upon returning to Vancouver, he founded the popular MAJI Golf Academy and became one of the first coaches in the Vancouver area to utilize simulators for teaching. He continued his education in ergonomics, earning certifications from Dr. Kwan of the University of Texas and the University of Pennsylvania. Invited to write a golf instruction column for the World Journal, he combines psychology and mechanics with over twenty years of teaching experience, making him one of Vancouver's most sought-after golf coaches. In addition to coaching, Edward is also an excellent player, participating in multiple competitions and achieving commendable results. He has won several tournaments hosted by the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation and participated in other competitions such as the BC Golf Open and the Canadian Amateur Golf Championships. To provide his students with a more comprehensive golfing experience, Edward launched the first MAJI Cup tournament in 2014. Now, the MAJI Cup Tour has grown to include over 15 events a year. In 2019, he partnered with Coach Linda to establish Vancouver's most elite and professional golf training center.
